Villa Zarik was a very special find for us.

Ghislaine, our wonderful host, met us at the road below the forest where the beautiful villa nestles and we were intrigued as she guided us up into the countryside, right off the beaten track. As we turned from the lane and into the drive, the villa emerged and we were faced with the breathtaking size and beauty of her home. Built with the special attention to design of its owners, the villa is absolutely stunning.....lofty, high ceilings, enormous rooms stylishly furnished with antique French furniture from Ghislaine's past and luxury everywhere.

The vast and inviting pool that sits just beyond the terrace, leading your eye out into the beautiful, landscaped gardens below was a crowning glory. We also had it to ourselves. On investigation, we found the grounds to be teeming with some very happy wildlife, nurtured by Ghislaine. Even a few tortoises roamed amongst the paths and immaculately kept plants. It is easy to see why they would be happy living here!

Ghislaine and her husband Mustafa have created something special here that you cannot fail to love. Her attention as a hostess was unsurpassed and we felt instantly at home.

We will always remember our stay at Villa Zarik and cannot recommend it highly enough to others looking for comfort and luxury.
